I offer trauma-informed, neuroaffirming assessments for Autism, ADHD and AuDHD adults (18+) across Australia via telehealth. Your lived experience guides the process — I specialise in masked and internalised presentations, and prioritise meaningful understanding over diagnosis alone.
All assessment appointments are held online via Teams.
If you’re considering a formal assessment, especially for the purpose of self-understanding, it’s a good idea to reflect on what receiving a diagnosis might mean for you — weighing up the possible benefits alongside any potential implications.
Please note that psychologists cannot prescribe medication for ADHD. NDIS Applications may require additional information sources.
autism assessment
An autism assessment will typically involve:
An intake interview (1 hr)
Diagnostic interview (2 hrs)
Questionnaires for you and a trusted person to complete
Feedback session (1 hr)
Summary letter to facilitate self-understanding or comprehensive report (if full report option selected)
autism assessment fees

*Sometimes, especially when other factors are involved, a thorough exploration takes a little longer. If an extended or additional appointment is needed, I’ll talk you through it before proceeding. Any associated cost is generally no more than $250.

neuro-affirming adult autism and audhd assessment
It’s important to consider your goals for the assessment before booking one in. If you intend to pursue NDIS funding, then assessment with me may not be the most cost-effective option, as additional reports or second opinions from professionals such as Speech Pathologists or Occupational Therapists may also be needed.
Comprehensive Report:
This is a diagnostic assessment and includes a detailed breakdown of the assessment results, psychosocial background, and tables summarising findings. You may choose this option if you are wanting a thorough understanding of your neurodivergent profile, supported by comprehensive documentation and guidance. Suitable for workplace/university accomodations.Summary Letter:
This is a diagnostic assessment and offers a concise summary of the assessment results without the in-depth background details or breakdowns. It’s a suitable option if you are primarily seeking confirmation of a diagnosis for personal understanding or other informal purposes.
Please note that I do not offer ADHD-only assessments. If ADHD assessment is what you’re looking for, I would encourage you to seek this through a psychiatrist as they can carry out their own evaluation and prescribe medication if needed. It is important to find someone well-versed in the range of ways ADHD presents in adults.
For those seeking a combined AuDHD assessment, the same applies — you may prefer to have the ADHD component assessed by a psychiatrist, especially if medication is a consideration. However, if you’d like me to conduct the whole AuDHD assessment, please don't hesitate to reach out!
